Dry Hair Treatment

Is your hair dry, damaged and/or frizzy? Are you losing your hair? Here are some remedies to help make your hair look great!

Don’t use shampoos with any harsh chemicals in it like (ammonium laureth sulfate, ammonium lauryl sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, sodium lauryl sulfate, etc.) They are very damaging to your hair. They strip the hair of its natural oils. Only shampoo your hair once or twice a week and condition your hair every day.

Adding honey to your shampoo will help add moisture to your hair. Add 2 tsp. pure honey to a gentle shampoo. Follow with a gentle conditioner. Honey will help add gloss to the hair shaft.

pH Balance Hair Rinse – Mix equal parts of apple cider vinegar with water and pour through the hair. Leave the solution in the hair and scalp for five minutes before rinsing with lukewarm water.

Cucumber Juice for Acne

Cucumber juice is a very effective way to get rid of acne and pimples. You can use it wherever you have acne like your back or scalp. It’s not just for your face.

Dark green cucumber

Peel the cucumber with a peeler or knife to remove the skin. Cut up cucumber and put into a blender. Liquify the cucumber and apply the juice to the acne with a cotton ball. Leave on for 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water.

An alternative is to drink four cups of cucumber juice daily for a week. This will purify the blood and lymphatic system, resulting in a clearer skin.

Coconut Oil

I recently discovered coconut oil and how it is really good for your hair and skin. Virgin unrefined coconut oil is useful in the treatment of virus, fungi and bacteria, all of which can cause acne and skin problems. Virgin unrefined coconut oil is better than most expensive commercial moisturizer and hair conditioners in the market, because it does not only soften rough skin, it is also loaded with antioxidants that help repair skin damage and strengthen skin tissues therefore preventing wrinkles.

Place a drop of coconut oil in the palm of your hands, then warm it by gently holding your hands together. Rub the oil on a delicate skin area, such as inside the forearm or on the neck. If you experience a rash or itching.

Why Mineral Oil is bad for you?

Mineral oil acts as a thin layer on the skin. It is difficult to absorb and clogs the pores, which slows the skin’s ability to eliminate toxins.

Olive Oil for Scalp

For 8 days massage olive oil all over your scalp before you go to bed. Sleep with it on your head the whole night and shampoo it out in the morning.

Excess sebum hardens and builds layers of deposits on your scalp to choke off your hairs and make growing hair extremely hard. What the olive oil does is it helps break up those hardened layers and eliminate bacteria.

Super Conditioner

1 egg white
3 to 4 tablespoons of virgin unrefined coconut oil
The juice from half a lemon
1 mashed banana
